Easy Date Balls

Nut butter, dates and seeds rolled in coconut make for a sweet snack that you can take on the go or enjoy at home!

Simple and delicious energy bites to have on hand for those busy days!

Most date balls are overly sweet - not this recipe!

Energy Date Balls


  • 1 cup pitted dates

  • 1 cup pecans

  • 1/2 cup nut butter

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1/4 cup hemp seed

  • 1/4 cup flax seed

  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes


  1. Soak pitted dates in hot water for 10 minutes to soften.

  2. Drain dates, add to food processor with pecans and nut butter and mix, mix, mix!

  3. Add oats, hemp seeds and flax seeds to food processor. Keep mixing until well combined. Making sure to give the hard working food processor breaks every few minutes so it doesn't overheat!

  4. Roll balls into crushed coconut flakes. Voila! Your date balls are ready.

Serve them right after or store them in an airtight container in fridge for up to 1 week.
